It was described as the Scottish version of Eton Mess! Shortbread instead of meringue and raspberries in place of the strawbs. Very tasty. It was the second time I've been to Wallace&Co and I wasn't dissapointed. I travelled via coach from Manchester on what turned out to be a 11 hour round trip but it was well worth it. The food was delicious! All the produce was fresh and you could really taste the difference this made in the dishes. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and everyone was very friendly. It was an absolute bargain for the price and I can't wait for the next one! Gregg was the prefect host. He knows his stuff when it comes to veg and the talks he gave were passionate and interesting. I loved the way he took the time to speak to everyone individually. He was down to earth and lovely just as I expected. It was also lovely to meet @thelittlewelsh and her partner there.
